Helicopter Photo Shoot!! Hands Across the Sand --Key West Update!!


Join Us! Saturday, February 13 @ 1 PM

Key West Smathers Beach

(Meet at the end of the beach closest to the airport.)


We are organizing a Helicopter Photo Shoot--hopefully with reporters from the Miami Herald and other local newspapers--to video the making of an "Environmental Message in the Sand" that is made-up of people hand-in-hand on the beach that says:












We need about 150 people to make the sign large enough to be effective for the helicopter photo shoot. Please pass this along to everybody you know and encourage attendance. We need a strong turnout and lots of media coverage to send a powerful message to lawmakers and Big Oil Lobbyists that Florida is a;

“No Drilling Zone!”
